(TSX VENTURE: WKG) announced today that is has appointed Mr. Robert (Bob) Lane, MSc, P.Geo as the company's Qualified Person (QP) under National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Lane brings 22 years of experience to WestKam Golds' exploration team.

Mr. Lane has worked as a research geologist for the Geological Survey of British Columbia, and for more than ten years he served as the Regional Geologist with the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources for the northeast-central interior region of British Columbia. He is currently the President of Plateau Minerals Corp., a geological consulting company based in Prince George, British Columbia.
