("Artek" or the "Corporation") (TSX: RTK) is pleased to announce the closing of its recently announced bought deal financing for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $43 million. An aggregate of 8,050,000 common shares of the Corporation were issued at a price of $4.10 per common share and 1,987,000 common shares of the Corporation were issued on a "flow-through" basis within the meaning of the Income Tax Act (Canada) at a price of $5.04 per flow-through common share. The financing was led by Peters & Co. Limited and included Cormark Securities Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., Clarus Securities Inc., GMP Securities L.P., Raymond James Ltd., FirstEnergy Capital Corp. and Dundee Securities Ltd.
