VANCOUVER, Jul 16, 2013 - Pennant Energy Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PEN) ("Pennant" or the "Company") announces today that David Finn, a director of the Company, died suddenly on July 15, 2013.
David served on Pennant's board of directors for almost 10 years and had a distinguished career in the oil & gas business for over 30 years.
Garth Braun, CEO of Pennant, stated: "We are deeply saddened to announce David's passing. David was a wonderful supporter and friend. He will be greatly missed. In his role as a director, his wealth of knowledge and expertise of the energy industry and his sage advice and guidance made an invaluable contribution to the Company. Pennant's core project is the Bigstone Project and is comprised of lands and licenses covering a total of 5,120 acres (net 1,120 acres), in Township 60, ranges 22 and 23W5 at Bigstone, Alberta.
