(TSX: R) (the "Company") announces the appointment of Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays Bank PLC ("Barclays Capital") as Adviser for the debt financing of the Haile Gold Mine project ("Haile") in South Carolina, USA. Barclays Capital will provide these services through the Mining & Metals team of its investment banking division.
In its capacity as Adviser, Barclays Capital will work with the Company in advancing the project toward production with the aim of securing project debt financing for construction and commissioning of Haile's future mining and processing operations. In connection with the engagement, Barclays Capital has appointed Pincock, Allen and Holt (PAH) of Denver, Colorado as the Independent Engineer to perform a technical audit of the Haile project and current feasibility work.
Barclays Capital is a leading provider of investment banking services to the mining sector, and has arranged and financed numerous projects in the gold sector.
