VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 05/07/10 -- Silver Quest Resources (TSX VENTURE: SQI) ('Silver Quest' or 'the Company') wishes to report that Richfield Ventures Corp. ('Richfield') has announced drill results from the extension of drill hole BW 59 on the Company's Davidson Property, located approximately 110 kilometres southwest of Vanderhoof, British Columbia. The Davidson Property is under option to Richfield and forms part of Richfield's 'Blackwater Project'.
The following highlights are from the announcement made by Richfield on May 6, 2010.
Richfield has completed the extension of drill hole BW 59. BW 59 was terminated last season at a depth of 336.19 meters and averaged 1.25 g/t Au over 329 meters (Richfield news release, January 5, 2010). BW 59 has now been extended to a depth of 588.87 meters.
Significant mineralized intervals from BW 59 as reported by Richfield include:
361 meters (7 m to 368 m) averaging 1.25 g/t gold
455 meters (7 m to 462 m) averaging 1.03 g/t gold and 4.3 g/t silver
6 meters (353 m to 359 m) averaging 5.16 g/t gold and 44.8 g/t silver
302 meters (208 m to 510 m) averaging 491 ppm copper
