CALGARY, Alberta, April 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Trinidad Drilling Ltd. (TSX:TDG) ("Trinidad") announced that Amended and Restated By-Law No. 1 (the "By-law") included in the management information circular of Trinidad dated March 7, 2018, has been amended in order to further align it with corporate governance best practices. The By-law, as amended, will be submitted for approval at the upcoming meeting of shareholders of Trinidad scheduled to be held on May 8, 2018.
The minor amendments to the advance notice provisions of the By-law remove the extension to the deadline to nominate directors in circumstances when Trinidad has increased the number of directors to be elected following the original nomination deadline.
