Black River Petroleum, Corp. Announces the Acquisition of "Over the Top" Platform Company Viva Entertainment Group

NEW YORK, - April 11, 2016 - Black River Petroleum Corp. (OTC PINK: BRPC) today announced it has completed the acquisition of Viva Entertainment Group, Inc. ("Viva"), a developer of an OTT system through which television services are delivered using the Internet. Effective immediately, Johnny Falcones has been appointed to the Company's Board of Directors as Chairman and will serve as President and CEO. The Company will relocate its headquarters to Briarwood, NY. Mr. Alex Stanbury former CEO of BRPC has announced his resignation in order to pursue other interests. BRPC will file a Corporate Action Notification Form with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority ("FINRA") requesting that a name be change to VIVA Entertainment Group, Inc. and that symbol be changed to "VIVA".

Mr. Falcones commented "I am deeply honored to have this opportunity to lead Viva through the important time of corporate positioning, product development, marketing and international deployment." Viva will offer consumers all over the world the ability to access and view the most sought after content including TV shows, sporting events, the latest movies, live concerts, pay per view events around the globe on a 24/7/365 basis. Johnny Falcones is an industry veteran with the strategic vision, the drive, and connections to advance Viva's platform in the TV industry. His extensive experience in the entertainment industry has guided the careers of Marc Anthony, Celia Cruz, Tito Puente and Soleil J. In addition he founded and operated a successful record label company alongside of the Universal Music Group.
