Tethys Petroleum Ltd. Appoints New CEO
Grand Cayman, April 3, 2018 - Tethys Petroleum Ltd. (TSXV: TPL.H) ("Tethys" or the "Company") today announces that it has appointed Samuel Barrows as Interim Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") based in Aktobe, Kazakhstan. Mr. Barrows has over thirty years of experience in the energy industry including fifteen years in the United States and over fifteen years internationally in the Former Soviet Union and Europe. He was formerly Director of Marketing and Business Development at Max Petroleum Plc in Kazakhstan, Senior Advisor at the Karachaganak joint venture in Kazakhstan, and Director of Supply and Logistics at PetroKazakhstan. Prior to PetroKazakhstan, he worked in a variety of roles at Texaco, initially in the US and then in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and the UK.
