Petrolia Announces the Voting Results from its 2014 Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders

All other items on the agenda were also approved, including the ratification of the Company's 10% rolling stock option plan, an amendment to its by-laws and the reconfirmation of the Shareholders' Rights Plan. The Company has received conditional approval from the TSX Venture Exchange for these three items. The Company's shareholders also approved the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as the new auditors of the Company and authorized the directors to fix their remuneration. Following the shareholders meeting, Mr. Alexandre Gagnon was appointed as an additional director.
In connection with various appointments, Pétrolia granted 405,000 stock options to certain directors and officers of the Corporation at an exercise price of $0.67 per share expiring May 27, 2019.
