VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Sep 9, 2013) - Inca One Resources Corp. ("Inca One" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:IO) is pleased to announce that the Phase 1 upgrades on the Chala One Plant are complete and milling has commissioned on the 25TPD carbon-in-leach (CIL) gold recovery plant.
The completed Phase 1 Expansion Program included a full refurbishment of the plant, installation of the necessary infrastructure for a 25TPD continuous milling capacity, and construction of a permanent 16 person camp and office. The former involved upgrades of all existing plant circuits, electrical motors and equipment, and installation of a 6th CIL tank (14X14). These advancements promote a continuous 25 TPD capacity, while enabling Inca One to double milling capacity in the future at minimal cost. The addition of the 6th CIL tank increases process flexibility by allowing the plant to process high-grade gold ore and maximize recovery.
With Phase 1 now complete, the Company will focus its efforts on generating cash flow from processing high-grade ore from the Company's Corizona mine, and other Peruvian gold mining operations. The Company plans on maximizing Chala One's current capacity, while preparing for the Phase 2 Expansion Program, which will further enhance the toll mill's operational capacity.
"We are pleased to have successfully completed this upgrade on time and budget," states Edward Kelly, President and CEO of Inca One. "We were extremely fortunate to acquire this mill in Chala, Arequipa, which is only 3 kilometers from the Pan American Highway, and are very pleased by the local government's support in helping us build a responsible, environmentally safe ore processing plant. Now it is time to execute on producing cash flow, expanding operations and further consolidate additional permitted milling operations."
