Inmet Mining Announces Change of Venue for Special Meeting of Shareholders

TORONTO, CANADA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/14/11 -- Inmet Mining Corporation (TSX: IMN) announces that the Special Meeting of Shareholders to consider the proposed arrangement between Inmet and Lundin Mining Corporation scheduled for March 28, 2011 will be held at the following venue.

    Date: March 28, 2011
    Meeting start time: 1:30 p.m. EST

The record date of the special meeting will remain unchanged. Shareholders should continue to deposit their proxies to our transfer agent and registrar, CIBC Mellon Trust Company, as soon as possible but not later than 1:30 p.m. (Toronto time) on Thursday, March 24, 2011. Any proxies already submitted for the special meeting originally scheduled for March 14, 2011 continue to be valid for the rescheduled special meeting. Shareholders who wish to change their proxies should review the Joint Management Information Circular of Inmet and Lundin dated February 9, 2011 or contact their financial advisors for instructions.

Inmet also announces that the fairness hearing (hearing for the final court order) is now scheduled for 10:00 a.m. EST on Thursday, March 31, 2011.
