He has more than 30 years of human resources experience and has been instrumental in leading his prior organizations to achieve Great Place to Work and Top Training Organization designations. He spent nearly 15 years as Vice President – Human Resources for Shaw Industries Group, Inc., a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. He also served as a human resources leader for 19 years at Ferro Corporation, a global supplier of technology-based manufacturing, including four years as Vice President – Human Resources. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and MBA from Louisiana Tech University.
