S&P Dow Jones Indices Announces Changes to the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices - Bankers Petroleum Ltd.

A Deletion from the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index

TORONTO, Sept. 12, 2016 - S&P Dow Jones Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:

The shareholders of Bankers Petroleum Ltd. (TSX:BNK) have agreed to the terms of a takeover offer from Geo-Jade Petroleum Corp. Shareholders of Bankers Petroleum will receive $CDN2.20 cash for each share held. Bankers Petroleum will be removed from the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index after the close of trading on Friday, September 16, 2016.
