VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Jun 11, 2014) - New Zealand Energy Corp. (TSX VENTURE:NZ)(OTCQX:NZERF) ("NZEC" or the "Company") will hold its annual general meeting on Monday, June 23, 2014 commencing at 10:00 am PST. Meeting materials have been distributed by mail and are also available on the Company's website at www.newzealandenergy.com. NZEC encourages all shareholders to vote their shares.

Following the business of the meeting, NZEC will host a shareholder update commencing at approximately 10:15 am PST. Shareholders who cannot attend the meeting in person are invited to participate in the webcast and conference call, which will include an opportunity to ask questions of NZEC's executive team.
