VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/15/11 -- BonTerra Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: BTR) (FRANKFURT: 9BR) (the 'Company', 'BonTerra') has applied for a permit to drill on the ice west of the current drilling area. This ice permit along with a new larger drill rig gives BonTerra lots of flexibility in conducting its work program on the Eastern Extension. This allows BonTerra to drill the peninsula zone (western strike extension) from the both the shore and on the ice. It is the goal of the company to both prove the historical strike length of 650 metres with the eventual aim to examine if this strike length can be extended to 1000 metres through additional drilling.
As disclosed February 17, 2011, the Peninsula zone extended the strike 75 metres to the west. Click on the following hyperlink to view the recent westward strike extension with the discovery of the Peninsula Zone:
Mitchell Adam, President states 'BonTerra's goal is to outline a strike length of potentially one kilometre or test potential outer limits of this strike. This would be followed up by infill drilling to further define the gold zones. This will validate the work BonTerra has been doing since acquiring the property last year.'
