MONCTON, New Brunswick, Dec. 21, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Denis Larocque, President & CEO of Major Drilling Group International Inc. (TSX:MDI) is pleased to announce the promotion of John Ross Davies to the position of Vice President Operations - Asia.
Mr. Larocque stated, “John Ross has been an instrumental player in the development of our Asian operations over the years and I am very happy to make this announcement today. Through the years, John Ross has helped to establish new branches, manage complex projects, and demonstrated a commitment to quality and safety for himself and his operations.”
Mr. Davies has been working in the drilling industry since 1989 after completing mechanical and engineering studies in Perth, Western Australia. He joined Major Drilling in 1996 and has held various management positions in several countries, most recently as Regional Manager – Asian Operations.
