(NYSE:HES) released its 2013 Corporate Sustainability Report today, a comprehensive look at the environmental, social and governance programs that distinguish the company and its subsidiaries worldwide. The report was released in print and an electronic version is published on the company’s website at http://www.hess.com/sustainability/sustainability-reports.
Hess Corp.’s 17th annual sustainability report was prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) sustainability reporting principles and guidance. For the sixth consecutive year, the report has been third-party assured at the GRI A+ application level by ERM Certification and Verification Services, an achievement that demonstrates Hess’ commitment to transparency and the values that serve as the company’s foundation.
The Hess Values, a framework of ethical standards that shape how business is conducted, are built around Integrity, People, Performance, Value Creation, Social Responsibility and Independent Spirit.
