CALGARY, July 1, 2014 - Caracal Energy Inc. ("Caracal" or the "Company") (LSE:CRCL) notifies the market that the Company's issued share capital as at the close of business on 30 June 2014 was 160,902,655 common shares. The Company does not hold any common shares in treasury.As at 1 July 2014, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 160,902,655. Shareholders may use this figure as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules ("DTRs").
This announcement is in conformity with DTR 5.6.1.
