Marathon Oil Schedules Second Quarter 2013 Financial Results Release and Conference Call

HOUSTON, July 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Marathon Oil Corp. (NYSE: MRO) announced today it plans to
issue its second quarter 2013 earnings news release on Tuesday,
Aug. 6, after the close of U.S. financial markets. Prepared remarks
about the quarter along with accompanying slides will be available
on the Company's website approximately one hour after the issuance
of the earnings news release. The Company will conduct a
question-and-answer conference call, which will be webcast live, on
Wednesday, Aug. 7, at 9 a.m. EDT.
