Petrominerales Secures Votes to Approve Extension at Upcoming Bondholders' Meeting

CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/25/13 -- Petrominerales (TSX: PMG) (BVC: PMGC) announced on June 20, 2013 the intention to call a bondholders' meeting for its 2.625 per cent Petrominerales Ltd. Senior Unsecured Convertible Bond Issue 2010/2016, issued by its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Petrominerales Bermuda Ltd. (the "Company"), to be held July 5, 2013 (the "Bondholders' Meeting").

Based on contact with Bondholders to-date, the Company has reached agreement with holders of more than two thirds of the outstanding Bonds on the proposed amendments to the Bond Agreement. As a result, the Company expects the proposed changes will be passed at the July 5th Bondholders' Meeting.
