CALGARY, June 20, 2013 /CNW/ - Boxxer Gold Corp. (BXX-TSXV; OTC -BXXRF) ("Boxxer" or the "Company") Regrets to announce that William T. Kilbourne, a valued member of Boxxer's board of directors, has passed away. At the time of his passing, Mr. Kilbourne had served as a director for Boxxer since inception of the company in 2003 and his presence will be missed. Boxxer has great appreciation for Mr. Kilbourne's service and the Board extends its deepest condolences to Mr. Kilbourne's family.
Mr. Kilbourne received his LL.B. and JD from the University of Michigan Law School in 1962 and his B.A. Economics from Yale in 1956. Mr. Kilbourne has an extensive history of executive positions within the mining and oil and gas industries, most of which trade on public markets.
