Chevron to Consolidate Gas Engine Oils Under HDAX ? Brand

09.07.2012  |  Business Wire

New Gas Engine Oil Portfolio Brings Together Best Products from around
the Globe

Chevron Products Company, maker of technologically advanced engine oils,
lubricants and coolants, today announced that it has begun consolidation
of its gas engine oils under the Chevron HDAX ? brand. The
focus of the consolidation is on retaining the best products from
Chevron′s global portfolio, assuring customers have technology that has
been proven in both the lab and the field. Chevron has built its new
HDAX Gas Engine Oil line in a way that simplifies the product selection
process. Customers will benefit by being able to easily identify which
products best suit their needs. Lubricant resellers will benefit from
having a streamlined product suite that is easier to sell and manage
from an inventory perspective.

The new three-tier HDAX product line will employ a numeric system for
easy identification of the appropriate product for the desired
application. In this new configuration, customers will find HDAX 7000,
5000 and 3000 series products, with higher numbers indicating a greater
level of performance. Different products will be available at each tier
(e.g., HDAX 5500, HDAX 5300) to meet varying market and application
needs.

The new three tier HDAX product line consists of the following:
