VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire - Jan. 13, 2011) - AuRo Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE: ARU) (the "Company") provides today an update on its flagship El Tesoro gold project in the Department of Antioquia, Colombia.
AuRo recently completed a detailed soil geochemical program over an area of approximately 1.1 km by 2.2 km. Given the proximity, similar and distinct geology of El Tesoro and B2 Gold/AngloGold's 2.4 Million Oz Au Gramalote project, the Company will now be utilizing a comparable exploration strategy, and immediately following up on any potentially anomalous areas with deeper soil samples, prior to drill testing any potential targets. AuRo expects to release initial results from its soil geochemical program imminently.

Since the geology is similar to that of B2 Gold/AngloGold's Gramalote Project, where deeper geochemical exploration was successful, we will exploit this new opportunity by also undertaking deeper soil samples."
