VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/14/11 -- Sabina Gold & Silver Corp. (the 'Company') (TSX: SBB) announced today that it has filed an updated internal 43-101 technical report entitled 'Technical Report - Back River Project, Nunavut Territory, Canada' (the 'Report').
The Report, dated February 11, 2011 is an update to the technical report prepared by Mr. Douglas Cater, P.Geo dated and filed on SEDAR July 27, 2010 and was prepared internally by Mr. Cater who serves as the Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101 on the Company's Back River project.
Due to the significant amount of activity on the Back River project over the last six months of 2010, an updated report was completed to include drilling results at the Echo, Del, Goose, Llama and Umwelt mineralized zones as at December 31, 2010.
