CALGARY, Alberta, July 11, 2018 -- Storm Resources Ltd. (“Storm”) (TSX:SRX) is pleased to announce that Sheila Leggett has been appointed to the Storm Board of Directors effective July 11, 2018.
Ms. Leggett brings to Storm a combination of strategic and regulatory perspectives through her current and past Board appointments and work experience.
Ms. Leggett is currently a Board member with the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO), Chair of the Board for the International Standards Organization (ISO) Technical Committee 207 Environmental Management, and Chair of the TELUS Spark Board of Directors.
Ms. Leggett has served on various Boards commencing in 1988 and most recently held the positions of Vice Chair of the National Energy Board (2006 - 2013) and Chief Operating Officer and Board member with the Natural Resources Conservation Board (2001 - 2006).
Ms. Leggett is a graduate of the University of Calgary with a Masters of Science in Biology and holds ICD.D director certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Storm began operations in August 2010, is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta and is focused on development of its liquids-rich resource in the Montney formation in northeast British Columbia.
