HOUSTON, TEXAS, Nov. 3, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Halcón Resources Corporation (NYSE: HK) ("Halcón" or the "Company") today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend on shares of its 5.75% Series A Cumulative Perpetual Convertible Preferred Stock equal to accrued dividends for the three months ending November 30, 2014.
Halcón will pay the dividend on December 1, 2014 to holders of record on November 14, 2014. The dividend payments on all of the outstanding 5.75% Series A Cumulative Perpetual Convertible Preferred Stock will total approximately $5.0 million, and will be paid in cash.
