VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired - Aug. 11, 2014) - Global Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:CTG) ("Global" or the "Company") announces a non-brokered private placement of $700,000 through the issuance of 3,500,000 units (the "Units") at a price of $0.20 per Unit. Each Unit will be comprised of one common share and one-half of one share purchase warrant (a "Warrant"). Each whole Warrant is exercisable to purchase one common share at a price of $0.28 per share for a period of two years from the date of the close of the financing. The private placement is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval and all securities are subject to a four-month hold period. Finder's fees will be payable in connection with the private placement, in accordance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange. Proceeds from this financing will be used to further the development of the Strieborná project and for general working capital.
