Saratoga Resources, Inc. Joins Key Russell Index

27.06.2012  |  Business Wire

Saratoga Resources, Inc. (NYSE MKT: SARA, the 'Company?) has officially
been added to the prestigious broad-market Russell Global Index and its
sister indexes the Russell 3000 ? Index and the Russell Micro-Cap Index.
Reconstitution of the Russell indexes occurred, and trading based on the
newly reconstituted indexes began, on June 25, 2012.

Annual reconstitution of Russell′s U.S. indexes captures the 4,000
largest U.S. stocks as of the end of May, ranking them by total market
capitalization. Membership in the Russell 3000, which remains in place
for one year, means automatic inclusion in the Russell Micro-Cap index

determines membership for its equity indexes primarily by objective,
market-capitalization rankings and style attributes.

Management Comments

Mr. Andy Clifford, President of Saratoga Resources, said today; 'This is
indeed a special day for Saratoga and our shareholders. Less than 2 ?
years ago we were a bulletin board company with a market cap of less
than $20 million. Being added to the very prestigious Russell 3000 index
validates our efforts and the growth strategy that we continue to employ
in our efforts to build an industry leading oil and gas company.?
