ADM To Become Global Distributor for HAF and Alfredo Iñesta Products
Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) today announced the signing
of an expanded agreement that will make ADM a global distributor of
Grupo Iñesta specialty products under the brands of HAF and Alfredo
Iñesta.
'As the world looks to agriculture to meet growing needs, ADM is focused
on strengthening our relationships with farmers around the world,? said
Domingo Lastra, ADM vice president of corporate growth. 'Grupo Iñesta
has developed an innovative line of products that can help raise
farmers′ yields, and we are excited about the opportunity to bring these
solutions to farmers and agricultural retailers around the globe.?
ADM currently distributes Grupo Iñesta products in Central and South
America. The products include several lines of bio-activators and
resistance inducers, which are designed to stimulate plant growth and
improve overall plant health. With this new agreement, ADM will become
the exclusive distributor of HAF and Alfredo Iñesta products in most
countries globally. In other countries, ADM will be a non-exclusive
distributor.
