Union Drilling Appoints Alan Roachell Vice President of HSE and Training

FORT WORTH, Texas, April 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Union Drilling, Inc.

Alan has extensive experience implementing HSE and training programs for energy companies and a demonstrated track record of leadership and innovation in the field.'

Since 2006, Mr. Roachell served as director of HSE at Rosewood Resources, a private oil and gas company, and its drilling subsidiary, Advanced Drilling Technologies. From 2000 to 2006, Mr. Roachell served as Senior Drilling and Wells HSE Consultant for BP and Talisman Energy in Alaska. From 1987 to 2000, Mr. Roachell served in various HSE and training roles for other companies in the energy industry. He began his career in 1984 as a Mental Health Clinic Counselor in the US Air Force. Mr. Roachell has a BS in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University and is a Certified Safety Professional.
