(TSX VENTURE: QRE)(OTCQX: QREDF)(FRANKFURT: BR3) ('Quantum', the 'Company') is pleased to announce the relocation of the Company's corporate head office in order to accommodate the additional growth the Company is undergoing with development of the Elk Creek Niobium and Rare-Earth project. The new office will allow for expansion of the Company's technical and management teams, and is designed to augment office space currently being arranged in Nebraska, where direct oversight of the project activities will be coordinated.

In addition, the Company wishes to announce the Airborne Survey previously announced (see NR March 16, 2011) is now underway at Elk Creek. Fugro Airborne Surveys Corp. of Ottawa, Ont., commenced the high-resolution airborne gravity and magnetic survey earlier this week, and the company anticipates results over the next several weeks. The survey results will assist the Company in identifying additional drill targets for the first phase drill program.
