Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) today announced that it has
named Vikram Luthar vice president, Finance, in addition to his current
role as treasurer. In this role, Luthar continues to oversee the
Company′s global treasury operations and assumes expanded
responsibilities for Planning and Business Development, where he will
focus on both short-term performance and long-term growth objectives.
'As treasurer, Vikram has played an important role in enhancing the
strength of ADM′s finances,? said Steve Mills, executive vice president
and chief financial officer. 'In this expanded role, he′ll contribute
his keen insight and his focus on results to the planning and growth of
our company.?
Luthar joined ADM in 2004 as vice president and treasurer. Prior to
joining ADM, Luthar spent 11 years with General Motors Corporation,
serving in various treasury positions in the United States and Asia. He
received a Bachelor of Technology in aerospace engineering from the
Indian Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration
from the University of Pennsylvania.
