S&P Dow Jones Indices Announces Changes to the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices

A Share Issuance in the S&P/TSX Composite Index

TORONTO, March 3, 2015 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:

Cenovus Energy Inc. (TSX:CVE) has announced the closing of a prospectus offering of common shares. To reflect this share issuance, the relative weight of Cenovus will increase in the S&P/TSX Composite and Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX 60, 60 ESG and 60 Capped, the S&P/TSX Capped Energy, the S&P/TSX High Income Energy, the S&P/TSX Composite High Dividend and the S&P/TSX Composite Dividend Index after the close of trading on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. There will be no relative weight change for Cenovus in the S&P/TSX Composite Equal Weight, the S&P/TSX 60 Equal Weight, the S&P/TSX Canadian Dividend Aristocrats, the S&P/TSX Equal Weight Oil & Gas or the S&P/TSX Composite Shareholder Yield Indices as a result of this share issuance.
