Infill Drilling to Commence Towards Increasing the NI 43-101 Resource
TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 01/20/11 -- U3O8 Corp. (TSX VENTURE: UWE), a Canadian-based company, focused on exploration and resource expansion of uranium and associated commodities in South America, reports drill results that extend uranium mineralization to 900 metres ('m') in length along the Aricheng West structural corridor in the Kurupung Batholith in Guyana (Figure 1). Scout drilling shows that the Aricheng West area is one of nine consistently mineralized zones identified to date in the Kurupung uranium system. Mineralization remains open at depth and along strike on all structures. Aricheng West is scheduled to be the first of three uranium-bearing structures to undergo infill drilling, starting in March, towards the goal of increasing the current National Instrument 43-101 ('NI 43-101') resource estimate to 20 to 25 million pounds ('mlb')(1) on the Kurupung Project by the end of 2011.
Diverse Suite of 'Electric Metals' Offers Potential to Define a High-Value, Multi-Commodity Resource in the Near-Term
TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 12/08/10 -- U3O8 Corp. (TSX VENTURE: UWE) a Canadian-based company focused on exploration and resource expansion of uranium and associated commodities in South America, reports grades of uranium, phosphate, vanadium, yttrium, rhenium, silver and molybdenum intersected in its first drilling of the Berlin Project in Caldas Province, Colombia. The Berlin Project is a sediment-hosted, multi-commodity prospect with a historic resource(1) of 12.9 million tonnes at an average grade of 0.13% U3O8 (38 million pounds U3O8) estimated on the southern 4.4 kilometres ('km') of a 10.5km long mineralized trend. No estimate of other elements was reported from historic work. Trenching is underway to confirm historic data that indicates similar uranium grades occur in the northern 6km of the property.
Size of 9th Uranium-Bearing Structure More Than Doubles to 350m in Length, Still Open
TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 11/25/10 -- U3O8 Corp. (TSX VENTURE: UWE), a Canadian-based company focused on uranium exploration and resource expansion in South America, reports that drilling has more than doubled the size of the Aricheng C structure in the Kurupung Batholith in Guyana (Figure 1). This ninth uranium-bearing zone now extends 350 metres ('m') long, and is open along trend and at depth. Results from scout drilling suggest that the Kurupung structures identified to date may contain a conceptual target of 13-18 million tonnes at a grade of 0.08% to 0.10% U3O8 (for an estimated 30-32 million pounds ('mlb') U3O8) including the initial National Instrument 43-101 ('NI 43-101') resource estimate of 5.8mlb U3O8 Indicated and 1.3mlb U3O8 Inferred(1).
Free-Digging Surficial Uranium in Sandy Gravel Offers Low-Cost Mining Potential
TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/27/10 -- U3O8 Corp. (TSX VENTURE: UWE), a Canadian-based company focused on exploration and resource expansion of uranium and associated commodities in South America, reports that successful exploration has increased the size of its uranium-vanadium discovery at Laguna Salada, in Chubut Province, Argentina, to 28 square kilometres ('km2') in extent (Figure 1). A total of 1,090 trenches have been excavated to determine the extent of the mineralized layer which occurs from surface down to a maximum depth of three metres in unconsolidated sandy gravel. The average thickness of the mineralized layer is 0.9 metres at average uranium and vanadium grades of 155 parts per million ('ppm') U3O8 and 842ppm V2O5 respectively at a cut-off grade of 50ppm U3O8 (Table 1).

Exploration Results Underscore Potential for a Large Multi-Commodity Resource
TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 08/26/10 -- U3O8 Corp. (TSX VENTURE: UWE) a Canadian- based company focused on exploration and resource expansion of uranium and associated commodities in South America, reports significant values of uranium, phosphate, vanadium, yttrium and molybdenum from rock-chip samples taken in an additional 15 trenches of the 29-trench program completed in the Berlin Project in Caldas Province, Colombia, South America. The Berlin Project is a sandstone-hosted uranium prospect with a historic resource1 of 12.9 million tonnes at an average grade of 0.13% U3O8 (38 million pounds U3O8) estimated from the southern 4.4 kilometres ('km') of a 10.5km long mineralized trend.
Scout Drilling Showing That the Kurupung Could Host a Potentially Large Uranium Resource
TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 07/14/10 -- U3O8 Corp. (TSX VENTURE: UWE), a Canadian-based company focused on uranium exploration and resource expansion in South America, reports the discovery of a ninth uranium-bearing structure, the Aricheng C target, in the Kurupung Batholith in Guyana (Figure 1).
