Aker Solutions ASA has today successfully completed a NOK 1,500 million senior unsecured bond issue with maturity in July 2022. The bond issue was substantially oversubscribed. December 14, 2017 - Aker Solutions secured a framework agreement to provide subsea services for Statoil-operated oil and gas fields offshore Norway. The contract has a fixed period of five years, starting in the first quarter of 2018, and contains five four-year extension options. December 13, 2017 - Aker Solutions won an order from Maersk Drilling to modify the production module on the Mærsk Inspirer jack-up rig for the Repsol-operated Yme oilfield offshore Norway. The order is valued at about NOK 1 billion and will be booked in the fourth quarter. The work scope covers engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning services. The North Sea Yme field was closed in 2001 after five years of production and is now being redeveloped by the operator Repsol. Akastor ASA announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Karl Erik Kjelstad as its Chief Executive Officer effective from 1 January 2018. Mr. Kjelstad will succeed Kristian Røkke who will assume the position as Chief Investment Officer of Aker ASA on 1 January 2018. Aker Solutions was awarded a contract from Aker BP to deliver the subsea production system for the first phase of the Ærfugl development offshore Norway. The award was made on behalf of the Skarv Unit and is subject to government approval of the plan for development and operation of Ærfugl. The subsea system will include wellheads, vertical subsea trees, a tie-in module and an umbilical riser base. The contract includes an option for Ærfugl Phase 2.
