Northern Iron today announced the results of its preliminary metallurgy test work, completed on drill holes KA 11-11 and KA 11-18. The ongoing testing is being completed in conjunction with the drill program on the Karas property. The preliminary results from the testing performed by SGS Canada Inc., Lakefield, Ontario indicate a high quality iron concentrate, with an average grade of 68.5% Fe.

Northern Iron today released assay results for drill hole GR-11-01 on the Griffith property, and an additional set of 3 drill holes on the Karas Property. The Karas holes continue testing the true thickness and extent of the magnetite mineralized zone towards the east and at depth. Northern Iron today released assay results for drill holes KA-11-20, 21 and 22 on the Karas property. The drill holes continue testing the true thickness of the magnetite mineralization in line with the previously released holes, testing the western part and down dip extension and plunge of the magnetite mineralized zone, which is still open at depth.
