SASKATOON, Oct. 10, 2013 /CNW/ - Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. (PotashCorp) today announced earnings for third-quarter 2013 are expected to approximate $0.41 per share1.

The change primarily reflects lower than forecasted potash sales volumes late in the quarter as buyers continued to defer significant purchases amidst near-term market uncertainty.

Additional discussion around third-quarter results, as well as full-year guidance will be addressed in our third-quarter news release and conference call on October 24, 2013.
