Takara Resources Inc. ("Takara" or the "Company") announces that it has set Thursday, November 28, 2013 as the date to hold its annual (and special) meeting of shareholders. The Company has taken extra time in this regard, given the efforts undertaken to put forth a particular special item of business to be voted on by shareholders, as it relates to a proposed strategic acquisition. However, as at the date hereof, binding terms have not been reached, and accordingly, the directors resolved to set the meeting date without further delay.
