Universal Copper Closes Private Placement

VANCOUVER, July 9, 2020 - Universal Copper Ltd. ("UNV", "Universal Copper" or the "Company") (TSXV:UNV) is pleased to announce that further to its news release on June 22, 2020, the Company has closed a Private Placement of 2,000,000 Units ("Units") at $0.05 per Unit for gross proceeds of $100,000.00. Each Unit is comprised of one common share at $0.05 per common share and one warrant exercisable at $0.07 per common share for three years from closing. The Private Placement received final acceptance from the TSX Venture Exchange on July 6, 2020.

An 8% finders' fee of 44,000 Units (with the same terms as the subscribers' Units) was paid on a portion of the funds raised. All securities issued are subject to a four month and a day hold period. Use of proceeds will be for general working capital and to advance the Company's projects.
