Bedient to Present at NAREIT Annual Convention

Patty Bedient, Weyerhaeuser (NYSE:WY) executive vice president and chief
financial officer, will discuss the company′s election of REIT status
and provide an overview of Weyerhaeuser′s business portfolio in a
presentation Nov. 17 at NAREIT′s annual convention in New York City.

Bedient is scheduled to present at 8 a.m. Eastern. Her presentation will
be webcast through Weyerhaeuser′s Internet site at http://investor.weyerhaeuser.com/phoenix.zhtml?p=irol-eventDetails&c=92287&eventID=3528100.
A replay of the webcast and slides will be posted approximately one hour
after the presentation and will be available for six months. It can be
