Cascade Copper Announces Field Work Completed At The Centrefire Copper-Gold Project

Ground Truthing Uncovered Priority Samples and 3D Interpretation Underway
Vancouver - Cascade Copper Corp. (CSE: "CASC") ("Cascade" or the "Corporation") is pleased to announce that it has completed an initial field program of ground truthing geophysical anomalies and rock sampling on its Centrefire Copper and Gold Project (the "Project") located ~40 kilometres northeast of Dryden, Ontario, Canada. The field work was initiated and completed in October this year. A total of 41 rock samples were collected across the Project including the area recently covered by high resolution drone magnetics over the northeast portion of the Centrefire claims. The Corporation believes that the mineralization found at the Main Zone, where previous surface channel sampling returned assays up to 0.82% Cu, 1.17 g/t Au, and 6.6 g/t Ag over 5m, could potentially continue along strike to the northeast under thin sandy till cover.
Highlights
-
Prospecting at the Main Gossan Zone expands oxidized footprint to at least 600m x 300m.
-
Ground truthing and rock sampling completed over northeast portion where drone magnetics revealed similar signature to the Main Gossan Zone discovers BIF and quartz-sulphide veining.
-
41 grab samples taken across the Project for multi-element analysis and hyperspectral scanning.
-
Initial magnetic inversion modelling shows Banded Iron Formation trends that are disrupted and interpreted to be structurally influenced and subsequently altered by hydrothermal fluids.

Shannon Baird, VP Exploration for Cascade Copper comments "During the field program in October, I was able to traverse a number of the priority magnetic anomalies that Cascade had identified during the review of the high-res mag survey. Although there was quite a bit of thin till cover with minimal outcrop exposure, I was able to sample some iron formation and oxidized sulphide bearing material. Prospecting within the Main Zone also uncovered more rusty and oxidized rock that expands the surface expression substantially. We expect to have results back from the lab in ~3 weeks, but in the meantime, we will be initiating a full 3D inversion exercise of the merged magnetic data to help us further refine targets at Centrefire, leading to a drilling program in 2026."

Magnetic Inversions
A preliminary 3D magnetic inversion has been completed on the historic airborne magnetic data flown over the western portion of the Project to test validity of the modelling. The Company has now commenced an exercise to attempt to merge the historic airborne magnetics with the recent drone magnetics and perform a 3D inversion on the data package as a whole. Since outcrop exposure is limited, this will significantly assist in subsurface structural and geological modelling along with potential zones of alteration and mineralization to target in future drilling campaigns.

Next Steps
The recently completed magnetic inversion modelling exercise indicates a strong correlation of magnetic disruptions with the anomalous to high grade copper and gold mineralization within the western half of the project. Taking this into account, the Company believes that performing a similar 3D magnetic inversion using the high-resolution drone magnetic survey data will significantly help delineate drill targets. This will be particularly helpful in the eastern portion of the Project where minimal outcrop exposures and a thin sandy till cover throughout makes traditional surface prospecting difficult. The Company also plans to submit a diamond drilling and geophysics permit application within the next month following the return of assays, the completion of the Project-wide 3D magnetic inversion modelling and the compilation of recent and historic data.
