Brisbane - Central Petroleum Ltd. (ASX:CTP) announces drilling continues without incident and is currently at 2274m MD, with another 700m to go. Logs will be run from 2360m MD to evaluate completion options in the Lower Stairway 2.

Background gas continues to increase as more air drilled horizontal open hole becomes available. Natural permeability is low and further work may need to be considered to complete WM26.
