LONDON, Sept. 3, 2014 - African Copper Plc ("African Copper" or "the Company") (AIM:ACU) (BOTSWANA:AFRICAN COPPER) announces that the Annual General Meeting of the Company will be held at 10.00am on Friday 26 September 2014 at the offices of Tavistock Communications, 131 Finsbury Pavement, London EC2A 1NT.

The Notice of the AGM, together with the Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2014, have been posted to shareholders. Electronic copies of the documents can be obtained from the Company's website from 3 September 2014 and hard copies are available from Tavistock Communications.

African Copper is an AIM and Botswana listed copper producer and exploration company, currently focused on Botswana. The Company's flagship project is the copper producing open pit Mowana Mine.
