Vancouver, July 25, 2013 - Golden Dawn Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: GOM; FRANKFURT: 3G8N) (the "Company" or "Golden Dawn") regrets and is saddened to report that Hans Schwabl, a Director of Golden Dawn since 2010, has passed away on July 18, 2013 at the age of 79 after courageously fighting an illness for over 10 years. Wolf Wiese, CEO of the Company, comments; not only was he a dependable and knowledgeable member of the Golden Dawn team, Hans was a dear friend of over 20 years. Hans will be missed by all of us especially his optimism, cheerful presence and his inspiring courage in the face of a daunting debilitating illness.
