CALGARY, Aug. 1, 2019 - Paramount Resources Ltd. (?Paramount? or the ?Company?) is pleased to announce that it has closed the previously announced sale of its Karr 6-18 natural gas facility to CSV Midstream Solutions Corp. for total consideration of approximately $470 million. The consideration received by Paramount included approximately $330 million in cash plus a $140 million capital commitment to fund and complete the expansion of the facility.
The cash proceeds from the transaction will initially be used to reduce amounts drawn on the Company's $1.5 billion bank credit facility, which totaled $827.3 million as at March 31, 2019.
