CALGARY, July 05, 2019 - Condor Petroleum Inc. (“Condor” or the “Company”) (TSX: CPI) announces today with profound sadness, that Mr. Walter Dawson, a long-time and valued member of Condor’s Board of Directors, mentor and friend, passed away on July 2, 2019.
The employees, management and board of directors of Condor extend our deepest condolences to Mr. Dawson’s family.
Mr. Dawson had a long and distinguished career in the oil and gas sector and was a founding member of a number of successful domestic and international companies. He brought a unique entrepreneurial spirit and uncanny determination to the Company and the Board of Directors and his presence and guidance will be deeply missed. Mr. Dawson was a director of the Company since 2011.
