Terrace Names New Chief Financial Officer

VANCOUVER, Oct. 18, 2016 /CNW/ - Terrace Energy Corp. (the "Company") (TSXV: TZR, OTCQX: TCRRF; FRANKFURT: 2TR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennie Choboter as its Chief Financial Officer.

Ms. Choboter served as the Company's Chief Financial Officer during its formative years and thereafter as an accounting and financial consultant to the Company.

Ms. Choboter is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of extensive experience in financial management and general corporate governance. She obtained her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary in 1976. She has held a number of senior financial management positions in a wide variety of industries including natural resources, technology, pulp and paper and insurance.

Ms. Choboter is replacing Keith Godwin who has resigned to pursue another Houston-based opportunity in the oil & gas industry. The Management and Board of Directors of the Company wish to thank Mr. Godwin for his excellent service during his tenure with the Company.
