S&P Dow Jones Indices Announces Changes to the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices

A Relative Weight Change for Seven Generations Energy Ltd. (TSX:VII)

TORONTO, Aug. 23, 2016 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:

Seven Generations Energy Ltd. (TSX:VII) has completed the acquisition of certain assets from Paramount Resources Ltd. (TSX:POU). To reflect the issuance of common shares as part of the transaction, the relative weight of Seven Generations Energy will increase in the S&P/TSX Composite and Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX Completion and the S&P/TSX Capped Energy Indices after the close of trading on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. There will be no change to the relative weight of Seven Generations Energy in the S&P/TSX Composite Equal Weight or the S&P/TSX Composite High Beta Indices.
