VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / December 22, 2015 / Avanti Energy Inc. (AVN.V) ("Avanti" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Company has successfully completed its 2015 Annual General Meeting, held December 21, 2015, in Vancouver, BC.
At the meeting, shareholders voted to adjust the size of the Board of Directors from eight members to seven. Subsequent to that decision, a motion was made to nominate an additional director candidate, Mr. David Leishman, a former director of the Company. A vote was held on the nine people nominated for the Board of Directors.
The following people were elected: Mr. John McIntyre, Mr. Karl Kottmeier, Mr. James Knell, Mr. Douglas Ford, Mr. Mario Panebianco, Mr. Robin Gamley, and Mr. David Leishman.
The Company thanks former directors Mr. Rommel Gallo and Mr. Phillip Gennarelli for their service to the Company and wishes them well in their future endeavors.
