(TSXV: NZ) (OTCQX: NZERF) ("NZEC" or the "Company") today announced that it has distributed by mail its 2015 annual general meeting ("Meeting") materials and also made these available on the Company’s website at www.newzealandenergy.com. The Company encourages all shareholders to vote their shares.

The business of the Meeting will include resolutions to fix the number of directors of the Company at three (3), with existing directors James Willis and Mark Dunphy standing for reappointment, joined by director nominee Dr. David Llewellyn. John Proust, John Greig and David Robinson will retire as directors of the Board before the Meeting.

The Meeting will also consider a resolution of the disinterested voting shareholders of NZEC to approve Geoservices Limited becoming a new control person of the Company.
